How Can I Find My Golf Swing Tempo

Many times whether I am on the range or on the golf course, my golf swing tempo gets quick. I then tend to hit golf shots out to the right but frankly, they could go anywhere. What can I do to have my golf swing tempo become more consistent?

Many players have a problem with keeping a consistent tempo with their full swing. After warming up on the range, hit a few balls with your eyes closed. Place a ball on a tee and take your grip and stance. Just before you take the club back, simply close your eyes. Keep in mind, you are not trying to hit the ball a long way your only goal is to hit the golf ball solid. Feel how your shoulders arms and hands work throughout the motion. After impact, open your eyes to follow the flight of the golf ball. With a little practice, you will be amazed at the type of golf shots that you can hit with your eyes closed and your golf swing tempo will improve.

In addition, a weighted practice club such as the Golf Gym Club 38 can help you improve your golf swing tempo. The weight of the club will force your body into sequence and better your tempo.
