While chipping or pitching from just off of the green should I take the pin out or leave it in? I see the pros doing it both ways. What is your suggestion?
We ALWAYS take it out. As Kenny Venturi used to say - it just makes more room for the ball to go in the hole. The rare time that I would leave it in would be if I had a shot that was lighting fast, down hill, down grain, down wind, etc. You get the idea.
