Where To Find A Christmas Golf Gift?

I always start shopping early for Chrismas Gifts. I have a golfing nephew and want to know where should I start to look for his holiday gift? Any suugestions?

Of course we can help you with that. Here are some suggestions from our article Three Places To Get A Holiday Gift found at VGS Golf.

The Golf Professional
If your golfer already takes golf lessons, this is an easy stop at the club or even easier a phone call. Contact the professional that your golfer already takes lessons from and ask them what golf training aid or new golf club would be best to give your golfer as a holiday golf gift. You can give the golf professional a price range and they should be able to give you two or three different suggestions for a holiday golf gift that will not break your bank. Again, being familiar with their game, the golf professional should be able to make you and your holiday golf gift look great!

The Golf Buddies
This is another great place to get information on what holiday golf gift your golfer would enjoy. If you are having challenges with your game, your golf buddies would know it either through their wallets of by having to listen to all the moaning and groaning.

The Golfer Themselves
You can do this a couple of different ways. If you are also a golfer, you can do the "holiday" snoop. Look through their golf bag and see what looks like it may need to be replaced. Maybe it is their golf bag! This would also include their golf shoes, head covers and etc. In addition, you can find a way to discretely ask them what they would like as far as golf clubs or what they would like to work on in their game.

Junior Golf Guide For Parents

I have two kids that enjoy playing golf. My oldest is going to be a freshman in high school this year. Do you have any suggestions of junior golf guides that would help us if they keep getting more serious about the game?

I would highly recommend to contact your local PGA section office. They will likely have the schedule of junior golf events for the summer. You can find a contact number for the section you are located in at PGA.com. In addition, Jacqui Nicoletti has authored The Golf Guide For Parents And Players. This golf book for junior golfers will take you through Junior Golf all the way to the highest levels of professional golf.

Weighted Practice Club - Short Game

I have a weighted practice club that is a seven iron. Will it help or hurt me if I chip with this weighted practice club?

Great question! This is a great idea to help your chipping. Using a weighted practice club will help you get the club through impact if you are sticking the club in the ground. In addition, if you are topping your chips the extra weight will assit you getting the golf club back down to the golf ball.

A Quick Holiday Gift

I am looking for an idea for an inexpensive golf gift that I can take to all of the upcoming Holiday Parties. Any ideas for me?

Golf Wine Charms are a quick and easy gift. Everyone can have fun with and enjoy these tokens at dinners, meetings and parties. You can use Golf Wine Charms as a gift for many different occasions. Some examples of how you can use these are as follows:

· Holiday Gift – Are you looking for an inexpensive last minute gift? Wine charms. Looking for a stocking stuffer? Wine Glass Identifiers. A gift for a white elephant Christmas party? Again, wine charms fit the bill.
· The Boss’s House – You have been invited to your or your spouses Boss’s home for a dinner. As a token of your appreciation for being invited to dinner, what do you take? Obviously, taking a bottle of wine has been used time and time again. Then comes the question, which bottle? A bottle of red? A bottle of white? Who knows? Why not change it up and take a set of wine charms? It never hurt to be noticed by the boss or their spouse to adding something to their dinner.
· Country Club Wine TastingGolf Wine Charms will not only add some fun to your table’s wine tasting, they are also inexpensive. Whether you stay with a theme of the wine tasting or go with a golf theme the wine charms will definitely get the conversation started.
· Ladies – In your golf meetings, individualize your wine glass and keep track of your wine as well. Ladies you can also use a set of wine charms in your post round lunch that are handed out depending on what happened out on the golf course whether your round of golf was nine or eighteen holes.
· Gentlemen – Guys do not count these out as you can use the charms or identifiers on the handle of your beer mugs! As I have sat in many of these evening Golf Association meetings myself, I have always wanted to make sure that I have the correct mug on many occasions. Golf themed charms allow me to do that. If you have a usual group, you could assign the identifiers by what happened out on the golf course to add more fun to your round.

As you can see, wine charms can be used in many ways. Wine charms are flexible in how they can be used such as wine glass identifiers, beer mug identifiers, stocking stuffers or a gift to a host or hostess. They are great conversation pieces and will add a nice touch from a meeting to a dinner to a flat out party. For other Holiday gift ideas go to VGS Golf.
